Refund and Cancellation Policy
Subscription billing, cancellation, and refunds
01. Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how Prolter subscriptions may be cancelled and how refunds are handled. This Policy forms part of the Prolter Terms of Service.
02. Subscription Renewal
Paid subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the applicable renewal date. The renewal price will be the then-current price shown to you, subject to any applicable contractual or notice requirements.
03. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription through the cancellation mechanism provided by Prolter or the applicable payment provider. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and does not normally provide a refund for unused time in that period.
04. Refunds
Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable after the applicable billing period begins.
Prolter may, at its reasonable discretion, provide a refund, credit, or other billing adjustment in exceptional circumstances. Any such adjustment does not create an obligation to provide the same adjustment in future cases.
05. Trials and Promotional Offers
Free trials and promotional offers may have separate conditions, eligibility requirements, duration, and cancellation rules. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional pricing does not guarantee the same price for future renewal periods.
06. Failed Payments
If a payment fails or is reversed, Prolter or its payment provider may retry the transaction, restrict paid features, or suspend the account until payment is received.
07. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for a charge that you believe is unauthorized or incorrect, please contact Prolter first where practical so that the issue can be investigated. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
08. Taxes
Applicable taxes, duties, or similar charges may be added to the subscription price where required.
09. Payment Provider
Payments may be processed by Dodo Payments or another third-party payment provider. A transaction may be subject to the payment provider’s terms and refund procedures, including where that provider acts as merchant of record.
10. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits a consumer or other statutory right to a refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or remedy where applicable law does not permit that right to be excluded.
